This is one of those places you can feel right at home instantly. It's so personal that the owner/barrista will probably remember exactly how you like your coffee, even if you've only visited once 2 weeks ago!

Read review on crema and decided to go try this 'little gem in poshnoville'. I was very surprised... Food was good but the coffee... Lets just say i was disappointed. The coffee was overextracted and tasted like dishwater. I sent the cup back and was confronted by the owner who explained to me that i was wrong, he then kicked his barista off the machine and made me a cup -- no surprises it was exactly the same .. will not be returning anytime soon!

Need I saw more with the brand of coffee used in this gem of a cafe in poshnoshville, NSW? If you are into strong, smooth coffee, cremecafe is the go. For $2.50, you are guaranteed that you are getting the top quality with your cuppa (at $45 - $40 per kilo, you'd better lap up every ounce). The food is great and well priced, especially being situated in the hob-nob area of Double Bay. Believe me, this is the best and the cheapest cafe you will find in the area. Perhaps even in Sydney.
